craft supply organization
Hi, I'm new here and will be undergoing "operation organize" w/ my kids the first week of summer vacation. How do you organize your craft supplies. I find I have so many odds and ends that there's no rhyme or reason to my shoving the things into bins. Help! What method works for you?

Re: craft supply organization
Hi!! Funny you should ask!! I had this amazing burst of energy, and I have been organizing my house, including my craft stuff, scrapbooking supplies, silk flowers, ribbon!!! Here are some pics!! I think I've cornered the market on plastic containers!!! Mary
Scrapbooking supplies in scrapbook totes.
I have 6 ribbon totes, one for Christmas ribbon, but I also have Hefty Jumbo bags of ribbon, that I plan to buy more totes for.
Have quite a few of these Wal-Mart containers with the turquoise handles; I keep markers, adhesives(glue dots, glue, tape), punchers, etc. in them.
Craft supplies: Floral Wire, cutters, etc.

Re: craft supply organization
For my genealogy, I use folders, and three ring binders, in addition to decorative paper board boxes, but I want to ( you guessed it) buy more plastic containers, for original papers and pictures; I really wanted letter size metal containers, with tightly fitting lids, but I did not find much online. I keep my giftwraps in the tall gift wrap plastic containers, as well as the tallest ones, in a rubbermaid laundry tote. Eventually, I want to put things on shelves. What crafts do you love? Mary
