Craigslist free pick up

What are the odds that someone will actually come pick it up? We have an OLD dresser we are looking to get rid of. DH is going to break it up into pieces to put on the curb. Do you think someone would actually come pick it up if we put it out there and on Craigslist?

We have put out old end tables, dressers and a wall unit that the original homeowners left here as well as a picnic table and all were taken. My DH just put a sign on them that said free please take me and poof they were gone.

Re: Craigslist free pick up

I just put a broken power washer on craigslist for free and I got 20 emails for it. It is gone as of 3 hours ago.

I just listed a free ironing board and a free Scott's Seed Spreader that works excellent.

By wednesday they will be gone too

absolutely! I did one or two posts with furniture that said "if you take it out of my house you can keep it." I got a million emails! You'll have your dresser outta there real quick.

Re: Craigslist free pick up

it will def. be gone in a few hours

BUT

Don't have your DH take it apart
and put a pic of it in the listing if you really want it gone

Re: Craigslist free pick up

I posted it this morning. It's REALLY old. It was part of MIL and FIL's very first apartment furniture. I would LOVE for someone to make it disappear Chat Icon

Re: Craigslist free pick up

I put stuff on the curb and it's gone. There are people who look through your trash for such things.

Dont be! Chat Icon All you are doing is saying that your address exists and that there is garbage out front on pick-up day. It's not like youre posting your social security number, days you will be away on an extended vacation and where to find the hidden key to your house. Chat Icon

Re: Craigslist free pick up

I was just going to write "no bites" when someone emailed me. Now should I ask any questions of this guy or just give him my address? I'll obviously make sure DH is home - but do I just trust he wants it and let him come get it?
