cramping

I'm 9 weeks and have had some slight cramping lately. Not sure if its gas pains (TMI) or a sign of something wrong. We went for our sonogram last week and got a really strong heatbeat. Should I be concerned?
I have been eating alot of fruit and veggies lately.

Re: cramping

Cramping is very common. As long as you don't have bleeding or a fever with it I wouldn't be too too concerend.
Chat Icon I know how you feel though, every pang freaks me out.

Re: cramping

It's totally normal to have cramping early in pregnancy. As long as there is not bleeding you are just fine.

Re: cramping

I am almost 10 weeks and have had the same thing a few times. I was at the dr Monday and asked him about it. He said it is fine and normal, and to just make sure I am drinking enough water.

Re: cramping

I had similar pains last night and called the after hours number for my ob since I was nervous. He said that it doesn't sound like anything and since everything is good up till this point he thinks it was probably gas pains.

He also told me if I was bleeding to go to the hospital.

Re: cramping

Also could be round ligament pain. This is a shooting sharp pain that sometimes goes from the stomach into the groin and upper leg area. It is from your ligaments stretching in your pelvis
