cramping in 2nd trimester?
I was cramping a lot in 1st trimester, but now at 18 weeks its starting again, not as bad but it makes me worry.
Also, I've been super light headed all day, I know its probably normal ...but considering the cramping, could it be related?

Re: cramping in 2nd trimester?
I agree with PP that you need to make sure you are drinking enough water. That will help a LOT - trust me, I had some cramping too.
In the second tri, the baby is gtrowing really fast and what you might be feeling is more your uterus stretching than cramping per se. Make your DH rub your belly, might help.
Feel better. Drink, drink, drink!!!!

Re: cramping in 2nd trimester?
sorry TMI maybe ..
so I drank another gallon last night, but cramps where still bothering me at times it really felt like AF.
I finally took the suggestion and had DH rub and massage my belly. It was nice, but after about 2 minutes, it was a toot fest. and I felt better. I'm so lucky my DH wasn't grossed out and kept helping me.
I cannot believe that pain was gas! This is gotta be my 10th gas post, and I'm always shocked like always its "omg, was that was gas?"
Watch me get my first baby kick and think "oh that's probably just gas"

Watch me get my first baby kick and think "oh that's probably just gas" The belly rubs may have helped push the gas out. Glad it helped. The gas likely won't get better. I tooted so loudly this morning that I woke DH up with the noise. You might mistake a flutter for gas; I wasn't sure at first, but when you really get kicked, there will be no mistaking it. It is the most amazing feeling ever!!!

Re: cramping in 2nd trimester?
Cramps for me mean 1 or 3 things....I have gas, I have to poo BAD, or I have over done it. I can usually tell over doing it since my bad hurts also and my vajajay has pressure. I'm glad the belly rubs worked! The amount of gass still amazes me!
