Cramps in bikini area?
For the last week, 10 days, I've been having pain in my bikini/groin area and lower back.My exercise routine and diet haven't changed at all and AF wouldn't be due for 2 weeks so I doubt it's cramps (I'm on CD 18). I went out last night specifically to buy HPTs because I thought for sure it was because I was pregnant but I got a BFN - so this may not be TTC-related but has anyone had anything similar and what was it?
Thank you!

I'm guessing it could be ovulation pain!

I was going to say the same thing. I usually do get those Ovulation cramps anywhere between CD14-20. They're not as intense as actually Menstrual cramps, but it can be a big PITA

They're not really in the same place as menstrual cramps. It's more like the groin area, like where you shave your bikini line Is that where ovulation pain is supposed to be? I've never had it before (on BC for most of my reproductive years) so I don't know what's normal. And it's been pretty constant - isn't ovulation pain supposed to be shorter and/or sporadic? It's also equally painful on both sides.
Thank you for the replies! I certainly hope it's ovulation pain because then at least I'd be ovulating!

hm... no, that doesn't sound like the kind of Ovulation Pain that I get, but that doesn't rule it out completely. Everybody's body reacts differently to things, so maybe!
I just know that with mine, it's not as much in the bikini area as it is in the actual ovaries where you feel menstrual cramps. It's also sporadic, like you said.
I'm not sure what could be up. How long has it been hurting? I'd probably ask a doctor if it were lasting more than a week or 2. I hope it gets better soon tho

I was going to say this too. You have lymph nodes in that area that I think you can also feel around ovulation.

Re: Cramps in bikini area?
It went away today suddenly although there's still some pain occasionally. Who knows what it was. Maybe if it happens again next month I'll call my OBGYN to see if he has any idea. Thank you to everyone who responded!
