cramps in second tri?
okay, so i am normally a huge worrier anyway, and i just need someone to tell me i'm not alone.
i'm almost 17 weeks and for a few weeks have been having pains that kind of feel like cramps REALLY low and in the center...like almost where the "pubic region" starts, just below my "baby belly" - is this normal in the second tri? i know cramping is normal in early pregnancy, but 17 weeks??
everytime i ask my dr. about my random pains and stuff, he says "it's normal, it's fine" - but it would help if i heard it from you ladies. isn't that sick...i don't believe the dr, but i believe all of you!!! hahaha

Re: cramps in second tri?
in the middle is most likely not RL (more often on the right side but can occur on the left .. usually only sides since thats where the ligaments attach the uterus to the abdomen). I have had cramps since day 1, it is your uterus stretching and thinning out to make room for your growing (rapidly at this point) bun

Re: cramps in second tri?
I'm the gas girl, so I have to say I felt similar things, that turned out to be gas.
I think general rule if there is no bleeding, smelly discharge, or change in urination, its probably normal.
