Crampy after internal?

I had my first internal last week and was fine. I had another one today and am now dilated. I feel pretty crampy now (AF-like) especially when I try to walk. I won't be walking much since I'm on bedrest, but it's definitely uncomfortable to even walk a little bit. Is it normal to be crampy after an internal or is the crampiness more of a sign of labor? I also started feeling some contractions after the internal today, but they're not regular enough to time them.

OB said it's common to cramp after the internal. When I was pregnant and had my internals I cramped afterwards.
