Crashing for a question..re: Endometriosis
If you had Endo, confirmed by laporoscopy surgery
How long did it take you to get pregnant?
Was your pregnancy aided by IUI/IVF?
Can you shore your endo success "story"
Thanks!!

I don't know if I have endo, but I was told by a Dr during my emergency ectopic surgery that I was "filled with adhesions" and I did have problems with ectopic pregnancies. Have you looked into Dr Toth? We did his treatment along with immune treatments and IVf and were sucessful on our first try.

Re: Crashing for a question..re: Endometriosis
I have endo and it was confirmed and removed by laparoscopy in December 2006, My husband and I tried to get pregnant in February 2007 and it worked, I was pregnant with but I unfortunately miscarried, I had a D&C at the very end of March and i conceived again in April before getting AF again.. That was with my DD.. With my DS we were actively trying for 10 months, even did a round of clomid that didn't end up with a pregnancy.. Then in June of 2010 I had another Laparoscopy to remove the endo and I found out I was pregnant at the end of July... My DS was born in March & he's 3 months old now.. HTH Good Luck!!!

Re: Crashing for a question..re: Endometriosis
Mine was never confirmed through a Lap, but they found an endometrioma on my ovary so my RE suspected that I have it, and it played some role in my secondary infertility.
First pregnancy was easy as pie - went off the pill, got pregnant in the first month, miscarried and got PG with Alex a week later.
Second pregnancy wasn't so easy. We tried for over 2 years, with 6 rounds of IUI, medicated and non-medicated, and eventually had to do IVF to conceive Yaya.

Re: Crashing for a question..re: Endometriosis
I had Stage IV Endo confirmed also with a LAP. It was really bad.
I've had Endo since I got PG with my 1st son. I didn't know it at the time but it was found while I was PG.
1st son - Got PG right away 2nd son - Got PG 2 weeks after a LAP after being told I couldn't have any more kids.
DD - Got PG with her after TTC for 8 months. We did have timed unprotected sex for another 7 months prior to doing the Lupron with no luck. DH wouldn't commit to TTC yet.
It took a lot longer with her than with the boys. Not sure why? Probably a mix of the Endo, older, etc.
I temped, used Ovulation kits, etc. with all 3 kids. Timed BD'ing perfectly with each one. Had no choice with having Endo, I have never been able to have an "oops" as much as I would have loved one.
1st son was born 1/2004 2nd son was born 9/2006 DD was born 11/2010
ETA: I did not need IUI or IVF but was looking into it with my benefits.
I LOVED proving the specialists wrong! I am DEFINITELY a success story. I am more than grateful for having my kids!
