crashing with a question-testing early
I tested early in the afternoon at 9dpiui (9dpo) on a dollar store test and got a faint second line. I tested the morning of 10dpiui (10dpo) with fmu and a frer and there was a faint second line. Tested again in the afternoon with the dollar test and the line was a little darker then the afternoon before. I tested again this morning at 3:30 am (couldn't hold it til wake up time) with a frer and the line was still very faint. Of course now i am starting to let the crazy thoughts in. My beta is Sat so I still have a few days. Just wondering is anyone kept testing and the line didn't get much darker.

Re: crashing with a question-testing early
I tested early and actually made a very similar post to yours! I had very faint lines that didn't start getting darker for a good 5 days or so. I didn't know it at the time, but I must have ovulated later than I thought that month, so when I got my first BFP, I thought I was already 2 days late for AF. It turns out I was still early. In hindsight, I realized that the lines only started to get darker around the time AF was actually due. Congrats and good luck!

Re: crashing with a question-testing early
I got a BFN at 9DPO and a very faint positive at 10DPO. Over the next few days it only got slightly darker. Wasn't a dark line for over a week.

It's going to take time for the line to get darker but a line is a line is a line.

Re: crashing with a question-testing early
Keep in mind you are testing with different brands, and that even within the same brand the tests have different amounts of the dye. So even if you peed in a cup and used two FRER at the same time, the lines on each could be different.
I only tested once a day at around the same time every day. And some days the line didn't seem to get darker, but in the grand scheme over the course of four or five days it did. As long as the line doesn't start to disappear try not to read too much into the lines. Especially this early on.
Congrats btw!

Re: crashing with a question-testing early
I only tested twice myself at 9 DPO and 10DPO with FRER and both times they were very faint but first my beta came back pretty high. Good luck.
