I really don't know enough to properly answer your questions about the support, therapy, etc. As far as the character letter, I don't think you need to discuss anything re: the issues involved in this dispute. I don't think you are qualified (for lack of better word) to comment on those things. It's more about your impressions of him as a parent. It should include what you know of him as a dad such as how devoted he is, how involved he is in their day to day activities even though he lives out of state, how he makes sure he never misses a single visitation with them, what you have observed or know of him doing with them on their summer vacations, etc. Unless there is other direction from his attorney, I would think that is what he needs the letter for.
