Cravings??

When did cravings start for you?

I am 13 weeks today and I havent craved anything much at all. Does it come later? Just wondering.

It came and went for me and it still does. Last night I was craving rainbow sherbet. Not ice cream, not ice pops, rainbow sherbet...nothing else would do. So, DH went to the store and got it for me at 10PM. I had 4 bites of it and I was like that was good. DH said "I went out at 10PM for you to have 4 bites!!!!!!"

Never really had any major cravings, out of the ordinary things that I didn't already eat. It was more like I felt like having things more often than others. DH and the family were always great about getting what I felt like eating too

Same here-- I haven't had a single "weird" craving. But starting in the 1st tri, I've definitely craved some already-favorite foods in a big way... like normally I have a bagel with cream cheese maybe once every week or so for breakfast. During the pregnancy I have to have one EVERY DAY, and I'd be sooooo disappointed if for some reason I couldn't.

Also pizza... that's become like one of the four basic food groups for me

I didn't really get a craving until way past 20 weeks, nothing weird though. My 1st craving was chocolate covered strawberries! I crave fountain soda sometimes, mostly coke, and wendy's spicy chicken sandwiches. that's about it.

i had it right away, thats what actually made me first want to test to find out! i wanted weird stuff and was very nauseous!

i wanted pizza ALL the time, for 3 days in a row i was eating like 5 slices a day! theni wanted a lot of fast food, but random stuff i never ate like KFC, and taco bell.

since then it has calmed down ... i am almost 25 weeks and the only major craving i remember lately was choc chip pancakes that i made dh take me to the diner for breakfast!!!

My craving was Stouffers French Bread Pizza, thats all Iwanted.

I craved OJ in my first pregnancy. And greasy hamburgers. I had a boy.

This pregnancy its everything bagels with butter. and sherbet. I am having a girl.

It comes and it goes throughout. It's never anything as weird or intense as what I had heard and seen in movies or TV. But there have been some. Definitely an intensified craving for the things i already liked, but didn't allow myself much of b4 the pregnancy. Ice cream and french fries. I have a real thing every so often for fried bologna for breakfast, which is something i never really ate before. I hadn't had it since I was a kid. Poor DH has to make me these scrambled egg and fried bologna sandwiches on toast at least once a month! And soda. I'm really enjoying soda which I wasn't drinking at all b4 the pregnancy. But nothing like pickles at 4 am or anything like that.

for the last couple of weeks I have been craving 7-11 coke slurpees. That seems to be the only thing that helps the nausea.

Within the first month I craved salty foods and also comfort foods like crazy. I wanted mac n cheese, chinese food, pizza....
I'm usually a very healthy eater, so this was so unlike me. In the second tri the cravings had subsided mostly, but I'd still want a little something salty every day.

Honestly, the foods I have craved the most are watermelon and pineapple. Fresh. Thank GOD watermelon can be found in the stores again because I SWORE I was going to DIE if I didn't have it one night Oh, and I ate FOUR POUNDS OF IT yesterday Needless to say, I was up all night peeing my brains out!

My cravings are hamburgers, icecream and sweets in the middle of the afternoon - not a very healthy diet. they seem to get stronger as I get further along - I'm 16 weeks now. If I'm not craving one of those things, then usually I'm not in the mood to eat anything.

After 20 weeks, I really started craving sweets. Chocolate, candy, anything. Before, I never even ate sweets, but now I can't get enough.
