Crayola Factory?
Anyone ever been? We are taking Kiera there on Saturday. I remember going about 10 years ago when I was baby sitting and the parents asked me to tag along to help. I remember it being a lot of fun but I was just wondering if anyone had gone recently.
Also, is there anything else to do in the immediate area that's appropriate for a 3 year old? We're planning on going to the Poconos later that afternoon because my in laws have a house there. But I'm just wondering if there's anything else in the immediate area that we might enjoy.

Re: Crayola Factory?
we went to the crayola factory when my boys were 3 and 2 (and I was 8m preggo ) and I remember being dissapointed. MUCH MUCH smaller than I thought. waste of time and money. a few things to color, a few things to look at, a room to play in, and that was it. we were out in about an hour or less. I was glad we didnt make a trip just for that.
if youre going out of your way, my opinion is it's not worth it.
I can fwd you online pics if youd like. just fm me your email.
sorry, thats my honest opinion.
ETA: I was told that older kids enjoy it more (5-6 and up) so maybe my boys were too young to appreciate it, but I would have thought THE CRAYOLA FACTORY FUN FUN FUN...

Re: Crayola Factory?
We're not only going for the crayola factory, we're also going to the poconos after. We are making the trip to that area specifically for the crayola factory but not the trip to Pennsylvania.
But I appreciate your honesty and it's good to know that it only takes about an hour to visit.

Re: Crayola Factory?
we took DD (2 years old). She liked it, although I think older kids would get more out of it. It isn't huge, but we were there more than a few hours. They also have a canal museum which is part of the building, which has some cute things for kids- including this new area where you can build with legos, lincoln logs, blocks, etc.

Re: Crayola Factory?
Thank you everyone for the information. I didn't realize that about the canal museum. We might have to check that out as well. How was the parking around there? Do they have parking or is it like a typical city where I'm going to pay $30 for a garage?
