Re: Crazy Sexy Cancer
I was going to and I forgot...hopefully it will be on again. I read Erin's blog every day (the redhead who writes for glamour) because she has the exact same type of cancer that my mother has. She said that she was in the documentary and that she had become close with the woman who made it. I was looking foward to watching it.

Re: Crazy Sexy Cancer
I've been following Erins story for years. First about her sister, then herself. I feel like I know her personally.

Me too...It was really weird because I used to read her articles in glamour and think wow thats sad she had cancer but I'm glad it is so treatable. Then my mother got diagnosed with leukemia and the first day we were all sitting around scared out of our minds because we had no knowledge of which type it was/ how serious it would be, We had this little slip of paper from the doctor that said "CML" and that was the extent of our knowledge. That same day my Glamour came and I looked at her story that month and saw that she had CML as well...I honestly wanted to jump for joy when I realized how it was so succesfully treatable... I always credit Erin's column to my first understanding that my mother had the "good" type of leukemia.
