Creams for Stretch Marks (mustella vs palmers)

What do you use? Im currently using Palmers Cocoa BUtter for Pregnancy - I use it 2x (morning & night) but heard from a BTDT mom that Mustella is more expensive but is better. Anyone using Mustella, is it really worth it?

TIA

Re: Creams for Stretch Marks (mustella vs palmers)

I'm almost 34 weeks and I have very very light skin - I have been using the Palmer's every day .......so far, so good -

I also use a spray bottle filled 1/2 water 1/2 baby oil every day before getting out of the shower ........but that was a pre pregnancy thing too - I'm uber moisturized

Re: Creams for Stretch Marks (mustella vs palmers)

early last pregnancy i used the palmers... but after all the morning sickness i got averse to the smell of it.

i never used the mustela.

i'm pretty sure that you can't prevent stretch marks... it's genetic, you either get them or you don't... but i'm still going to try my best not to get any!!

so last pregnancy my sister recommended this clarins body oil to me... she used it for 4 pregnancies and never got a single stretch mark.

i used it for the rest of my first pregnancy (week 20 or so on), and i didn't get a single one either.

DEFINITELY using it again this time!

it's expensive, but a little goes a LONG way - one bottle will get you through almost your whole pregnancy. worth it, imo. GL!!!!

I wonder if this is comparable to Bio Oil Chat Icon If so...Bio Oil is MUCH cheaper and you can get it at Rite Aid, CVS, etc.

I used Palmers last PG and didn't get any stretch marks....I plan on doing the same this time.

I have been using the palmers and the tummy honey (which smells amazing) I also like the fact that the tummy honey doesn't really absorb into your skin right away like lotion. I want to try the clarins one, I've heard great things about it.

oil is oil IMO -
I stick to the Johnson & Johnso's Baby Oil .........I"m sure the Clarins costs a small fortune -

Do you mean a body scrub? I've used it a few times .....but w/ all of my obsessive moisturizing, I rarely feel the need to scrub the belly !!

All of my stretch marks are on my "love handles" and by arse (which are actually from gaining weight pre-pregnancy).

I don't have any on my stomach. I use Biotherm daily on all three areas ... I like the way it absorbs and it keeps my skin super soft.
