creating a double curtain rod??
i'm in the process of doing DD's big girl room. i have a window rod over both windows that i dont want to replace...is there anyway to get a "double Curtain" look without buying a new rod??? i want to do panels with a valance.

yes, I learned this from Marburn curtains, they have most of their displays done like this
buy the rod attached and after putting on the curtain you just kind of hang it across and try to hide it towards the wall
I did it in my bedrooms, the sheer is on that rod and my panels are on the regular rod.

I think they have attachments at BBB you could buy as well as the above suggestion.

If you don't mind the panels inside the window frame, you could get a tension rod.

thanks:) i think i'm going to give this a try. i can't do a tension rod because it is a double window and there's no room.
