Creative apple pie recipes??
Have a ton of apples from apple picking. I already made an apple crumb pie...looking for something different!!
Please tell me how you make your pie different!

I haven't made it yet, but I am pretty sure Bon Appetit had a special section of apple recipes.
I think I saw a caramel apple pie, and also, though not a pie, a sick apple tart recipe with almond creme. we didn't go picking this year so I haven't really made anything.
I am going to try to find for you.
ETA: it was the october 2009 issue of Bon Appetit.
HERE are some of the recipes from it from Epicurious.
there is also a dreamy sounding apple spice cake that I am dying to make. Here is that recipe.
