creative mothers days ideas for first time moms

My sister just had her first baby on Thursday and with mother's day right around the corner, I wanted to give her a creative mothers day gift. I know many people get mani/pedi gift certificates, but she doesnt usually go for those. Any ideas????

How about a nice mother/child statue? I know Lladro has a nice one. Or a mother/child pendant. I have this one -- I got the queen size and I wear it on a long chain (like 24") and I get so many compliments on it. I got it from momsjewelrybox.com. I didn't want one with the heart bottom or with a birthstone -- I just wanted this simple one and I LOVE it. If you don't want to do that, how about a Coach diaper bag (or a Vera Bradley if you don't want to spend as much as Coach would cost)?
