Creative ways to serve veggies
Anyone have a great family friendly recipe for any type of vegetable. I really need to be much better about serving a veggie at dinner.

Also my favorite thing is asparagus first boil it then lay it on a platter drizzle some extra virgin olive oil and some bread crumbs bake it for a few min. SO GOOD!!!

Re: Creative ways to serve veggies
I'm not up to this yet but these are the things that I have gathered that might help...
Serve raw veggies with dipping sauces. Kids love to dip and if you give them some carrots and celery and let them dip it in low fat dressing it helps them to eat it.
Serve one bowl meals like stir fry with lots and lots of veggies
Make the veggies into fun objects like serve pasta with trees (broccoli florets) and have a contest to see who is going to have the biggest forest in their belly.
When I was growing up, we were given the choice some nights of having a veggie or fruit of our choice.
