try bankrate.com. They have lots of different scenarios to choose from and you can apply right on line.

Re: Credit Card Balance Transfer
Chase Mastercard just sent me a letter for 0% until 9/09 and 6.99 APR thereafter...thought that was pretty good. ETA: no transfer fee

Most mail offers are typically targetted offers and only available to the person receiving the mail. So if you are anticipating opening a credit card, don't throw out those junk mailers! Some of the best credit card offers come in the mail.
With that said I tend to like this card for balance transfers.
Juniper National Parks Card
This bank likes to give out high limits (if your credit qualifies). 0% for 12 months. $50 balance transfer fee.
The Bank Of America NEA card is good too (only a $30 fee). Good thing about BOA cards is they will easily reallocate limits from other BOA cards to the new one with the 0% offer. They can also electoncially send you your BT money to your checking account. Then you can do what you see fit with it (pay off other credit cards - do home improvements - etc).

Like Erin, I liked the Chase offer the best. No transfer fees. Why pay money when you are trying to save money?
