To get it from the credit agencies (experian, transunion, etc), yes...unless you were recently denied credit. There are sites you can get a free credit report too...I just personally only trust equafax, experian, or transunion.

you get one free report per year. but you dont get your fico, just the report.

You can get one free credit report per year from each of the 3 credit bureaus. Go to www.annualcreditreport.com.
This site is legit, it's run by the three major credit bureaus.

This site is legit, it's run by the three major credit bureaus.
I just got my credit report and DH's at annualcreditreport.com this month. And I did it last year also. I've had no problems. If you are more comfortable you can contact the 3 bureaus individually.
