credits above masters
can anyone recommend any good classes that are not too much work because I would like to get to 15 by Jan and I only have 6 credits, so I need 9 credits this semester?

9 credits - that's 3 classes. That's a lot of work for one semester. It's not your first or second year is it?
Anyway, do you teach in NYC? I've taken a bunch of the grad classes offered through the UFT - they're given all over the city in alternative locations (I took a Brooklyn College class at an elementary school in Caroll Gardens, for example). They're pretty ridiculously easy and comparatively cheap for grad cretdits.

OH! If you're in NYC, DEFINITELY take CLEP exams. They're like $80 for 3 undergrad credits and all you have to do is take a 3 hour exam in: 1) any subject that you don't already have college credit for; or 2) your license area.
If you speak a second language and take that exam, that one test alone is worth 12 credits for a good score.

Take online classes with DELLECAVE.
You can look for classes that are offered online once per month, and you can take the three classes separately rather than all at once.

Re: credits above masters
Make sure you district allows online classes first. Some do not and some are more strict than others.
TEI classes are good too as are the ones offered through NYSUT.

Re: credits above masters
i took 12 credits in one month this summer online... check out www.lilieonline.com My district is pretty strict and they accept these...
They offer the online classes per month, and all you really have to do is post at least 4 times a month in a chat room about articles...in one of my 4 classes we had to do an outside assignment, but that was it... i also learned a lot... but it was a lot less work then some of the other online companies that DH took courses at this summer... plus you get a discount if you register for 2 or more courses
