creepy phone call.
Last night someone called and asked for my dad, I said that he wasn't there and I could take a message.
Guy: Is this his wife?
Me: No, daughter.
Guy: OH wow you are all grown up, how old are you now?
Me: 27
Guy: Wow, you sound so young. why do you sound so young?
Me: haha, I dont know. . .
Guy: Married?
Me: Um yes. . .
Guy: any kids yet?
Me: No. . .I am sorry, do I know you?Guy: Does it matter? I know your father that is all that matters right?
Me: Okay, so is there a message?
Guy: No message, just want you to know if your husband doesn't treat you right - me and Antonino are going to beat him up.
Me: Um okay, that's enough good night.
I am such an idiot, it was just some sales call and the guy had a little fun with me - my dad doesn't have "young" friends like that and NO ONE calls him by his full name. . .I can't believe I gave out so much of my information - just to be polite!

it was probably someone from Bank of America since they call me and my dad at least once a day.

I saw the thread title and totally assumed it was a call you got at the SSA 800 number.
I give the caller some credit for trying to make a phone sales job fun but it does not exactly reflect well on his company.

i was on the other daying trying to explain what "congress" was to a lady. it ended with an f bomb. . .from her NOT me

Maybe it was my client who insists that she should get a Title II SSD benefit without having any work history b/c the severity of her injuries should be the only thing that matters. Oh wait, I am describing more than one client here. They're lucky I love them anyway.
