Crestwood Manor or Larkfield Manor?
In your opinion, which is best for a wedding? Any experiences you've had with either hall, please share good or bad. Thx!

Re: Crestwood Manor or Larkfield Manor?
I can't speak for Crestwood Manor, but I was married at Larkfield Manor this past April, and we had a great wedding. The food was fantastic, the wait staff was fabulous, but to be honest with you, I did have some issues.
1. The lock to the bridal suite wasn't working properly, and my guests kept running in and out of our suite to use our private bathroom. When I found this out, and asked why, they said the door was wide open so they ran in. I went to Marianne and spoke with her about it, she reassured us it wouldn't happen again and she would have one of the bridal attendants stand guard. I went back to the suite about 20 minutes later, and again the door was left wide open and no bridal attendant in sight. I had my DH speak to Marianne because I was fuming. My mom ended up having to periodically check the door because we had all of our cards, gifts and money in the suite. Nothing was taken, but the aggravation wasn't needed.
2. My reception was in the Garden Room, and our sweetheart table was on a riser. The carpet of the riser matches the carpet on the floor, and when the lights are dimmed, it is very hard to distinguish where the riser begins. We had a couple of instances of guests (including myself) tripping over the corner, but the worst was when my grandfather tripped, fell on his side and was knocked unconscious. I have to say, the wait staff IMMEDIATELY came to him, called the ambulance, took him outside and assisted him, I couldn't have been more thankful, they went above and beyond that day. He was taken away by the ambulance and when I tried to speak to the owners about this, they weren't "available". I did make the suggestion of putting some sort of lighting around the riser so nobody else would get hurt, and I have heard from others that they did install rope lighting in each room, so I am very happy about that.
But like I said, besides these 2 incidents, I had a beautiful wedding. My guests loved the food, and almost a year later I'm still getting compliments on how wonderful the venue was.
