Crib bumper question

When you put the bumper in the crib did you put the decorative side out (so the world could see it) or in (so DC could see it when they're in the crib)? I've been wondering what the "correct" way is. Chat Icon

Pretty side in. It's the way they had it on the website.

Ours was pretty side in - but it was designed to be that way - on ours - the animals have different textures and for example the elephants ears come out for DD to grab at.

Re: Crib bumper question

Back when Noah was a munchkin, the ties were on the less decorative side - so the 'pretty side' went in. Besides.. the bars cut into the outward facing side anyway!
