Crib lead time question
I have read many posts and even in the baby bargains book that is takes weeks for a crib to be delivered.
Last night at Buy Buy Baby they sales person told me they stock about 98% of their cribs. Is this true or was it a sales pitch?
I am so confused with all this.

Re: Crib lead time question
98% sounds inflated to me. I think you have to be specific about the crib you want at whatever store you're in. IMO it's always better to shop early for stuff like a crib, it's not like you won't need it.

Re: Crib lead time question
IMO it depends on what your needs are...I know from past experience that my son wont be in his crib until he is at least 4 months or so...So if you are planning on keeping the baby in with you you could wait to buy the crib...BUT if you are planning on getting the baby to sleep in the crib from day 1 than its best to order it earlier than later.

Re: Crib lead time question
I do know that I bought both cribs from BRU and took them home the day I bought them. 6 years apart. It's likely they do have the cribs in stock at BuyBuyBaby.
