Crib sheet question
So I just read in Baby Bargains that fitted crib sheets should have elastic all the way around (not just at the ends/corners), which was one of the criticisms of Pottery Barn since they stopped doing crib sheets with full elastic. So, then I look on PB's website and it specifically says that the sheets have elastic on the head and foot portions "for safety".
So, should I get sheets that have full elastic or only on the head and foot? Wow, the things you have to worry about when you are a mom!! Any thoughts?

Re: Crib sheet question
You know what i found on my co-sleeper that i loved and think i will do to my crib mattress.. It had velcro under the matt that would hold the crib sheet even tighter around.. I thought that was great, and i want to go to craft store and buy velcro. the sheet doesnt need the velcro b/c it holds on to the spike part on the matt.

Re: Crib sheet question
I had no idea - I actually just had to check my registry. I registered for two Koala Baby sheets and they are only on the corners; the other three are Carters and it just says 'reinforced corners' but i don't know if that means the elastic is all the way around and doubly so on the corners or just the corners.
What is the safety concern with full elastic?

I don't know. Baby bargains said it should be full elastic because it will stay better and lessen the risk that it will pop off and suffocate the baby But pottery barn said the ends were only elastic for safety so I don't know if they mean that is better than elastic only on corners or better than elastic all the way around. They don's say anymore than "for safety". I tried to do a search on google to find out what is better, but I can't find anything.
