There has been a freakin cricket in my house for like 3 days!!
I have seen him a few times but can't catch him..
I just chased him into my bedroom closet and he disappeared...

last summer there was a cricket somewhere in the window in the bedroom. it was driving me MAD!!!!!!!!  I finally had DH spray the entire inside of the window with ant spray (desperate times... ) and within 10 minutes, his ANNOYING chirps faded out to nothing!

When I see a cricket I grab the biggest cup I can find and cover the cricket with it. Then I slip a piece of paper underneath and carry it outside.
I can't kill it because I hate the crunching sound.

I don't have a cat anymore -- she's at my parents' house because DH is highly allergic (and I don't want to do anything to set his asthma off, obviously!  )
Tah-wee-zah -- at least it's slightly comical --- maybe one day I'll laugh about it??

My dogs like playing with them and eating them too.
I have a family of them in my den baseboard heating that I can't catch.
You should hear the room at night. All you hear is chirp chirp chirp.

Freakin Crickets are insane! In the Summer before I got an outside pest control it sounded like a Cricket Convntion all night Good luck finding that offender!

I HATE Them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last year and this year they seem to be everywhere in my house. I have a cat, thank god or there would be more I would have to catch.
They are so annoying!!!
Not only is their stupid chirping annoying, but they are soooo ugly.
You try to get them and they jump or crawl away so quickly!
I HATE them!
Can't wait for colder weather so I don't have to see them anymore.

I have the cure ladies... Glue traps. You don't even have to bait them. I put them in the area that I see them the most, and along the walls and the baseboard.
The little bastards are cannibals so if one gets stuck, the others will come over and try to get at them.
We have this problem every year around this time, when it gets cool out. Just don't get the glue on your hands, it's a real PITA to get off.
