Crinone symptoms-belly ache and pinched feeling on one side
I have been using this medication (vaginal insertion) for 5 days and am not sure if the pain I am feeling is a side effect of the Crinone. The severity is minute but definitely different than my regular menstrual type cramps that I normally experience a week or so after ovulation. It is almost like a dull ache in my belly and on one side of my lower stomach every now and then I get a pinch or a kink.

To be honest with you, when I was on Crinone, I was on a whole boat load of other meds and didn't know where which symptom came from. Every med affects each woman differently, cramps, aches and twitches are all par for the course, if gets really uncomfortable or you experience any bleeding call your RE ASAP.

I'm confused- are you already pregnant and using Crinone? (looks like that from your avatar  ) Because if that's the case, those could just be normal pregnancy symptoms.
Crinone didn't give me a ton of side effects from what I remember.. just bloat - which was probably really from Ovidrel.

I'm not pregnant, I am TTC and had an IUI! That avatar was from my previous pregnancy.

Ok I see I don't remember feeling that kind of thing on Crinone .. just bloat, which like I said could have been the trigger.... and oh yes, constipation

I agree. I had no symptoms like that from the crinone. But I did have post-O cramps like that the day of/couple of days after the IUI.

oh gosh.. i am starting crinone tonight, so this is very helpful info for me. I am hoping these are preg symptoms for you, not from crinone i can let you know if i have these once i start on it

Also, I wish someone had warned me of what I have found to be the worst side effect -- the icky discharge everyday. The first morning I noticed it in the shower freaked me out. It didn't start for me until I had been taking it a few days.

I agree. I had no symptoms like that from the crinone. But I did have post-O cramps like that the day of/couple of days after the IUI.
Same here. I've used crinone and never had any side effects except the yucky discharge. Maybe it's a good sign for you!

Thank you for all of your honest replies to my original post. It has subsided since I posted a few days ago. Just now I had a little bit of a pinch on the same side but it felt more like a gas pocket. Off course I am hoping for the best but I think due to circumstances my IUI timing was not ideal so I am trying not to get my hopes up. Now I am about 7 days past ovulation.
Either way I will keep you guys posted and am praying for a blessing.
