Croc Bites Off Vet’s Arm! (not celebrity related but interesting)
Surgeons reattached a Taiwanese veterinarian’s forearm today after a 440 lb Nile crocodile chomped it off!
The male crocodile severed Chang Po-yu’s forearm yesterday when the veterinarian tried to retrieve a tranquiliser dart from the reptile’s hide so he could give it medication. Colleagues recovered the limb from the reptile’s mouth and rushed it to the hospital.
The forearm was reattached following seven hours of surgery today.

DUDE! I just looked that up on Google news...that sh*t is REAL! Story!
They were able to reattach the guys arm but OMG what craziness!

Unfortunately, the story is all too real. It's on FoxNews.com. Croc Story
Re the "off" date of 12/04/2007 - probably because news24.com lists their dates like the Brits (first the day, then the month).

LOL!!  I'm such an idiot! (Especially after a few glasses of wine.  )
I was telling my DH about the story, but he claimed he couldn't find it after doing a search (I never bothered to do my own search.)
I'l have to forward the Fox story to him.
