Crochet
I tried it for the 1st time last night and really enjoyed it. I need a looot of practice but it was def fun. Any suggestion from the experts on patterns, how to practice, etc? TIA

just keep making stuff! that's how you get better!!! I Finally finised my first blanket!! (I'm going to post..).. all i've made before were scarf's, and I have 1000 of them now!! so I tried a baby blanket!! I'm also working on a poncho that I started on my HM!  I'll finish it one of these days! ha ha

it is going to sound dorky, but I LOVE the Vanna White crochet books! Great pictures and detailed instructions for each stitch in the back of the book. I think she wrote at least 3-4 books - I have 3 and I love them all - use them all the time!

Are they easy to follow for beginners?? I have tried to folow patterns adn totally can not do it!! peope have to actually SHOW me hot wo do it...
