Crocs for a toddler
does anyone's DC have them? Roman has just started walking on his own. I was wondering if they'd be okay for him to walk in.

I dont know the answer to your question... but I couldve sworn I just saw something on the news about how there is something in them, that is unsafe for children...

i think you are talking about the airwalk ones from Payless. The news said the "A" on the side would fall out and cause a choking hazard I believe.

Re: Crocs for a toddler
I would not get crocs for a child who just started walking on their own. They don't have the support that they need. Stick with stride right for the first year...
I am debating about getting them for my DD, I love the jibitz that I can put on them but I can't decide if they are too girly or not... I know they are very trendy but still...

Re: Crocs for a toddler
They look like gardening shoes.. I guess that is the best way to describe them or you can just google them to see what they look like...
Jibitz are the charms that you can put on them...

BBB has them, I got them for the girls. Also try LL Bean and Land's End.

Re: Crocs for a toddler
DD has them I see kids all the time falling all over the place . I feel thney should be for the pool. DD is very careful and she toild me that she does not like walking in them.. they fall off her feets.
To me they are very dangerous.. they are styromform that you child is walking in. There is no supporrt and not trackion. I a just goin to keep them as pool shoes and stivk to Sporty Sandels for her to wear to do outside water stuff...

Re: Crocs for a toddler
I wouldn't get them for a new walker. Stick with Stride Rite or get Robeez. Also in the beginning bare feet are best.
