Cross post* Beta 47 at 4 weeks?
I had a mc on January 1 and my levels were down to zero by the 5th.. I used opks and got my smiley on January 16th. So from what I assume Im either 4 weeks today or yesterday b/c I got a BFP on the 27th! I had my beta done yesterday and the number came back today at 47.. My question would be is 47 a good number for only 4 weeks or 3w 6d?? I go back for a repeat on Monday and I will know results by tuesday but until then i'll be so worried!! I have had two consecutive mc in this past year.. I can't take another!!!

Im sorry for your losses! A beta of 47 for 4 weeks or less is a great starting point! Anything over 25 is considered pregnant so you can't really go by the first number but the next beta will be important! Good luck!! Hoping for a nice beta on Monday!!

It's more about the doubling. As long as the levels are rising nicely, that's all the matters. Hope your number Monday is much higher.

That sounds just right for where you would be in pregnancy but Beta's can vary greatly, so as long as it doubles that is what you are looking for. I only had 1 beta done to confirm pregnancy at around 4-5 weeks because I was bleeding and mine I think was like 68 or something like that.

Like the others said, don't worry about the first number. You have to start somewhere! My beta at that time was 24.7, I'm almost 12 weeks pregnant now.

I agree it's more about the doubling. Mine was just in the 70s at 4 weeks with twins. It tripled on the next. Good luck!!
