Usually travelocity or any of those travel sites have a way to search for cruises if you give them the specifics of what you want. Honestly, the best cruises leave from down south instead of NY... I have been on four Carnival cruises so if you have any questions about them please ask!

I'm sorry, I don't understand your "without stops". Do you not want to stop anywhere? Most cruises that leave from NY usually have a sea day or 2 before they get to the first stop.

This is too true. If you can take the 2 hour plane trip to FL to pick up a cruise, it would probably be a nicer experience, overall.
However, if you leave from NYC, Bermuda is a nice destination.... I believe all cruises from NYC should go directly to their destination without stopping elsewhere in the states first.
Try searching popular cruiseline websites and searching itineraries from NYC ports. That will tell you every night's stop or "at sea day" in detail!
HTH. Good luck!

gotcha! I think most do go straight through, though I have seen a few that stop in FL.
And I totally agree with the Bermuda suggestions!!

It is going to be hard to find a cruise that goes out of NY right to the Bahamas. Usually they stop in Florida. I have been on a lot of cruises and I must agree with an above poster that cruises out of Florida are so much better. Usually the boats are newer, bigger and you have more itineraries to choose from .I went on the Norwegian Dawn two years ago, that left from NY and stopped in Florida and Bahamas. I wasn't a fan of this cruise. The boat was nice, but the ports where awful. Also, there were way to many days at sea. If you must leave from NY, try a Bermuda cruise. Bermuda is 100% better then Nassau Bahamas IMO.

Re: crusiing where to begin?
There are no cruises that just go out of NY to Bahamas.
I have down all my research because we are going next May. The cruises leaving out of NY for next year are limited. Not sure why.
We are doing the Carnival to St. Thomas, San Juan and Tortola from NY.

We did the Holland America cruise that leaves from NY and goes straight to Tortola or Grand Turks depending on the sailing. You have 2 1/2 sea days before the first port. It was a great cruise and sailing out of NY was a breeze.
