cryopreservation.....
Any IVF'ers going to do this if your first try doesnt work, which Im praying that it does??
My RE said that it lowers the PG rate a little, but you dont have to go through all the medications.
Not sure if this is something I want to do, just wanted to know other's opinions.

Yes, we are. My infertility center has been experimenting with a new cryo process over the past year called vitrification. Since it's experimental, they're not charging for it. We'll just have to pay the storage fees.

They just said that they're using it as their new form of preservation. It's a lot quicker of a process than cryo, and it's perfectly safe.
They're done with the experimental period, but are still offering it for free.
Which reminds me; I have to call them to find out how many embryos they've preserved!

Yes, we did this..we have 5 embryos frozen and plan on using them for a second cycle next year after I have my 
PS- The cost is ALOT less..

Ditto, out of 6 IVF's, none ever made it to freeze  Pretty telling when I think about it
