Has anyone ever been to the Spa? DH's family is looking to go in August and I wanted to see how it is there.

My friends didn't visit the spa, but they said the resort was amazing!

I was just there for a girls weekend a few weeks ago. The spa was really nice. We had massages at the Crystal Springs Resort. Two of my friends got mani/pedi's before the rest of us arrived at the Mineral Springs Resort and said that spa was a little bit nicer.

Yes, sorry that is what I meant. They are planning on going to the Mineral Springs Resort & Spa (they have 3 different lodges, I did not specify).
We are planning on bringing DD who will be 18 months. I am a bit nervous it will be our first trip with her.

I didn't use the spa at Minerals, I used it at Grand Cascades. My friends loved the spa at Minerals.

Minerals had lots of families and kids there. Grand Cascades was definitely more couples and an older crowd. We ate breakfast one morning at Kites at Minerals and it was just ok. There is a buffet, but we ordered off the menu. The bloody mary's were delicious Chat Icon

Dh and I had a couples massage there. They did a good job. I especially liked.the water footbath with rose petals at the end. It was a nice touch.
