CST Multi discipline...

I am going over the practice questions on the NYSTCE website and they are so hard....Chat Icon

I don't know how I'm going to do this Chat Icon Chat Icon

The ones i'm having the most difficulty with is math, science, and history....

how much of the exam is focused on these subjects????

I ordered the Cliff note study guide....

PLEASE tell me how you studied for this thing - what should I know?

I am very upset about this!!!

Re: CST Multi discipline...

I have to be honest, I didn't study at all for this exam and passed with flying colors. I think a lot of it is information that you either know or don't know..... I remember the practice tests being harder than the actual exam... i wouldn't stress too much. . . try to relax and don't over think the questions...they try to trick you.

you'll be fine!! GOOD LUCK!!!! Chat Icon

I left the test not sure how I did. I was so nervous when I went to check my results. I passed!--and not just barely passed, I really passed! You will do just fine!!Chat Icon

Re: CST Multi discipline...

i tutored someone for this test and we used the barrons (or one of those study books) as a guide. i prepared her the best i could

she came home from the test laughing because it was so much easier than the review book. and she passed with flying colors.

don't stress. it's not that bad.

I took it in Oct. and honestly, I thought it was hard. I agree with one of the above posters about it being stuff you know or you don't. I felt like there were bits from every regents you've ever taken. The essay was a running record. I thought this was the easiest part of the whole exam.
