Cupcake tier...make one or buy one?
I did a quick search online and they seem a little expensive to buy so I'd rather make one, just not sure how and if it would be any less expensive. I was thinking styrofoam? I'd want it to be three tiers with the top tier being used for a cake. Has anyone made one or know where to buy for a reasonable price?

Don't but the cardboard ones from Wilton. They suck.
I bought this one recently and it's sturdy and cheap.

I bought one earlier this year from Meijer.com.
Used at my SIL's baby shower a month ago and will use it again for Dd's Bday party. It's sturdy and made of very hard plastic. Loved it. Pretty cheap too. Click the link to check it out.
