Cures for the Common Cold
I am feeling like p-o-o-p today due to this nasty cold I have.
DH told me to go to the gym and "sweat it out". I am so tired I just want to lay down under my desk!
I was wondering - does anyone have any home remedies they would like to share?

I just posted this on pregnancy. It seems to be going around pretty bad.
To help make me feel better without medicating myself I:
Gargled with warm salt water (gross and it made me gag, but I felt a LOT better after)
Sucked on throat losenges.
Drank hot water with lemon and honey.
Lots and lots of fluids.
And lots of sleep.

when i was preganant i tried to avoid taking any medicine at all. so i asked a nurse what i should do and she told me "lots of hot tea with lemon and honey", it worked like a charm.

I'm right there with ya! I can't seem to break this stupid cold. I've been drinking OJ and I have Airborne too.
