curious - if you were small chested pre-pregnancy...

and your boobs didn't grow much during pregnancy, were you still able to breastfeed?

boob enlargement was really something i was looking forward to but by the looks of it (i'm 21 wks) it aint happening for me!

i'm curious to know - if the same thing happened to you, were you still able to bf? if so, for how long? TIA!

They will get bigger once your milk comes in - dont worry! I was a B before getting pregnant, went to a C while BF'ing, and now I'm down to something SMALLER than an A

ETA: I BF GEnevieve for 3 months and Little Billy for 6 months (I had to stop with him due to three back to back cases of Mastisis)

Same here, I breast fed for a little bit as well, but never produced enough to keep up with all of DS's feedings

I wasn't that big before pregnancy (B) and didn't grow at all during pregnancy. However, once the milk came in....holy cow! I grew to a D. I'm still pumping milk for DS (2x/day) and haven't decreased in size yet!

I wasn't big prepregnancy (small B), didn't go up a size at all while pregnant---able to BF just fine (B-C now)

Pre-baby I was a B cup. Ended up C cup post- baby so definitely got larger. It shouldn't affect whether or not you can BF. The difference lies in how much they can store not how much milk you produce. You should be producing same amount as a larger chested woman but she has more room to store it for longer is all. So you may need to feed or pump more often

My mom was an A before she had children. She BFed both me and my sister until we were around 2 yrs old. You can still BF if you're small chested. (She also ended up becoming a B for the rest of her life since BFing us.)

i was a small B before getting pregnant. i really didn't grow much at all during pregnancy (maybe a little, but still fit into my regular bras).

once my milk came in i was a LARGE D.



i always wanted to experience big boobs, then once i had them all i could wish for was my old boobs back!! the big ones just cramped my style

i breastfed for 4-5 months and had no problems (none that were related to boob size, anyway).

now i am just slightly bigger than i was pre-pregnancy... but i'm sure that's because i weigh 10 pounds more

I was small B. They grew a little and I breastfed for 14 months. Never had a problem of milk supply. Now I think they are the same size or a little bit smaller than before.

I was a full B/small C pre-pregnancy and was a full C prior to giving birth (I'd say about 26 weeks and later) and through BFing.

I retained it for a little while post BFing, but I have been back down to an even smaller B since she was about a year old.

I was able to BF and BF'd for 7 months until she weaned.

I wouldn't be worried about it now at 21 weeks. Be glad you don't have to buy new bras yet!

The size of your breasts pre-pregnancy has nothing to do with your ability to breast feed. My DH's cousin is flat as a BOARD and she's bfed all 3 of her kids. In fact, all of the small-chested girls I know IRL have been able to BF no problem.

This is what happed to me size wise. The milk comes in when you pass the placenta And they will get like beautiful "porn star" boobies Only to shrink down to sad "old lady" boobs.

Well in my case I was a full C before DD.. while pregnant they were enormous. Then after being unsuccessful at breastfeeding they never got smaller then a D

But breast size has nothing to do with it.. and they will get bigger just wait

I was an A pre-pregnancy, went up to a full B, small C during and then a full C after having DD. I nursed her for a year and produced enough milk to feed twins. Now I'm back in my A cup bras and I don't think I'm filling them up as good as I used to.

ETA: Even though I have 2 deflated ballons now I sure did enjoy my porn star boobs while they lasted!

i was an A and I went to a B i didnt notice a change in boob size at all during pregnancy.. i was wearing my old bras until i gave birth and started bfing...

yup a yr later I am still breastfeeding and weaning now. Boob size doesnt matter the milk still comes

oh and I was sooo looking foward to BIG BOOBS hahahaha and didnt get them

Small before, small during, small after.
the only growth I got was from gaining weight....my milk never came in.
I was very disappointed!! I've always wondered what it would be like to have a chest!!
