Curling Iron
So this past weekend I got my hair done for a wedding I was in and I loved it! I got it half up and they used a curling iron to make those loose curls. I was always about straight hair but I got so many compliments on my hair curly. Does anyone use a curling iron on there hair? Do I blow it out straight and than use the iron on it? I just bought one yesterday-I am sure that I won't be able to do it as good as they did it this weekend but I guess it's worth a try!!

Re: Curling Iron
I still haven't mastered it. I usually blow it straight then take small sections and roll them. I can't seem to get each curl looking the same though.

Re: Curling Iron
I want to start experimenting with hot rollers - I love that look but I'm a total spazz - don't ever think I'd be able to do it myself!!

Remember how much spray they used? Just spritz before you roll and after. They also took the hair and wrapped it around the curling iron, instead of twirling the curling iron around.. do you know what I mean?

Re: Curling Iron
I bought the big regular rollers a few weeks ago, tried it and it did absolutely nothing. I have a medium sized curling iron, same thing - no difference. What about braiding wet then letting it dry? That might at least be wavy?

Re: Curling Iron
you dont need to blow your hair out first. but make sure its dry when you start and use the proper product for your hair. when i want loose waves to saty in place i use a gel that "melts" in or basically keeps your hair soft but locks the curl/wave.
