curly hair spin-off re: discontinued product

the people on LIF are an amazing bunch and can find ANYTHING under the sun...

the curly hair thread got me to thinking... a million years ago, there was a product i would use for my curls that would give me the world's most perfect curls.

it was discontinued, according to the store where i used to get it.

again, this was a million years ago, before everyone was on the internet. i'm hoping someone here could help me find it... even if it really has been discontinued

it was a paul mitchell product. it was a gel-type prduct, the container was like that for gel (upside down tube). oh, and the name was a foreign word... that i could never pronounce... must have been french.

by any chance, does anyone know what i'm talking about?

I wish I could help but I do feel your pain. I have straight hair and stumbled across this beachy waves product by john frieda that I LOVED. It made my hair look beachy/wavy and smelled like the beach ... I googled to find it and found pages and pages of people raving about it and begging them to bring it back but they never did. I tried their replacement for it but it wasnt the same

thanks guys. i tried the site for the discontinued products... no luck.

i'll be calling directly, over the weekend, see if i have any luck
