cushions for shopping carts?
Once in a while I see a mom pushing a baby in a cart, and the baby is sitting on this cushioned, colorful seat thing - does anyone know what I'm talking about?
At 1st I was like - how spoiled does this kid need to be? But then, of course, I started thinking - what a nice idea, so you don't put the baby in a cold shopping cart - and it does look comfy!
does anyone have one? What is it called? Where do you get it? I figured it would be a nice registry item....

They are called Floppy Seats. I registered for one at BRU. I think it can also be used in a restaurant high chair.

It's not only for comfort.. it keeps kids from touching all those nasty germs on the shopping cart handles  I have one and I use it alllll the time

BRU has them in blue and pink. I got the pink one of course!

Do they make nice neutral ones? The toughest thing about registering is that I don't know what I'm having - maybe thats why I'm dragging my heels about this whole resgistry thing....

yup! i also got mine in BRU and it is neutral. it says something like Cart Safari on it and it has animals and a few toys attached.

I have a toile one in black and beige from BRU. It's the best thing ever since I am a germaphobe. Babies put thier hands in their mouths and on everything. I use it when we go out to dinner in the highchair too. I highly rec one!

yup! i also got mine in BRU and it is neutral. it says something like Cart Safari on it and it has animals and a few toys attached.
DH LOVED that one...that is the one we registered for.

Yes they are comfy, but more than that, they cover that grem infested cart. Think about all the babies that sit in that cart with their hands all over the handle, drooling. Your asking for a cold sitting them in there.
