Custom Wall Decals or Painters or Wood Pieces?

So we're set to move into our new house. We had been hoping to move this past weekend but a few projects were delayed and won't be finished til the end of this week. No matter, we can move in next weekend! Baby Ava's room is coming along, we even have a delivery date scheduled for her furniture with BBB's white glove service so they'll put everything together for us. Thank goodness. We're doing a storybook themed nursery for our little bookworm and I wanted to have something like this on one of the walls:




I just don't know how to go about doing it. I'm not sure I'm too crazy about the actually wooden boards. I think I'd prefer a wall decal or something hand painted. I know someone who might be able to do the hand-painted design, but that sounds pricey. I found one place on Etsy that has a similar wall decal but it's all black and I don't like that. Plus, I want the ability to be able to put my favorite places- like the 100 Acre Woods or Whoville, ya know?



So what would you do? Does anyone know of a good Etsy vendor that might do a custom wall decal? Or a reasonably priced mural painter so I could price compare? Any inkling as to what the cost might be would be great, too! I just don't want to get my hopes up!
