Cute Toy Alert! Don't Look if You Don't Want to Spend Money :D

Which are better quality wooden toys? Boikido or Haba?

I'm in love with both but since they are expensive, wanted to make sure I'm getting the right ones... here are some samples. On a side note, aren't these toys totally adorable? :D

I lovelovelove wooden toys. They all look great but if it's an "investment piece" my vote is for the push/walker thingie, it'll be used for a much longer period than the others.

Love the toys, but am wondering on the price. DS lived without any of them.

We've received couple of sets of haba blocks as gifts and they're great. We have a lot of fun with them. (One of our sets is the one you pictured.) DS is 2 and we've been playing with them since he was 1. He really likes to build towers and then knock them down.

If you like wooden toys, also check plan toys. I love their plan city line. (a little old for your DC at this time.)

I've never heard of Boikido so I can't comment them.

We received the Haba blocks for his 1st birthday - they were cute but the assymetry made for hard building - I love wooden toys - I think the push toy is nice!

ETA - Where did you find the farm train? I'm already thinking Xmas/Hannukah and he would love this!
