Cutting Teeth
At what age did your child cut their first tooth? Did they develop a fever at all? Emma is 6 months old today and woke up this morning with a fever of 100.7, no other symptoms. She has been teething for a couple of weeks, but no teeth yet. Could this be the reason she is spiking a slight fever? TIA

Mine cut teeth at:
 - 4 months old
 #1- 3 months old
#2- 4 months old
None of mine got fevers.

DD got her first at 7 months and her second at 8 months. Never had a fever.

ds has had a low fever for a few days... ped told me it was from teething if he had no other symptoms....

DS is teething but hasn't cut a tooth. He is 4 1/2 months old. My nephew cut his first tooth at 6 months old.

Well it turns out Emma has the beginning of an ear infection, which is partly because of the teething, so i'm glad I took her to the dr. for antibiotics. Thanks ladies for your help!!

same here
#1 was 8 months though
#2 6 months
#3 3 months and no fevers
but it does happen !
