Cysts that wound up being a follicle?? UPDATE#4
Who was it here that had that happen. Thought you were out for the cycle because of cysts and they wound up being follicles?
I just went for my baseline blood & sono and I have 5 cysts :(
Going back Monday to check again. Dr. hopes they collapse by then bc today is only CD2 and by CD5 if they do go away, I can start Clomid.
I have zero faith that this will happen. But I did remember someone on these boards saying the had cysts that wound up being follicles
**UPDATE
They just called and my Estrogen was 710!! They want me in again tomorrow for more blood and another sono. She said something about there being cysts AND Follicles in there! WTF is going on??
I'll update tomorrow.
UPDATE #2:
So the "cysts" are still there. And the dr. says with my estrogen being this high, and the "cysts" looking more like follicles he's pretty sure that my period isn't my period! That I'm STILL in my last cycle and am going to ovulate AGAIN!
Checked blood again, waiting on results. If estrogen has gone even higher, we trigger and do another IUI Monday
How weird is this?
UPDATE #3
Estrogen dropped to 520. So no trigger. Go back Monday to see what's what. Def follicles with cysts so this cycle is still up in the air.
This whole thing is so weird.
UPDATE #4
This takes the cake.
Winds up my "results" from saturdays blood test weren't mine!!! They can't find my results and the lab has no record of them!!! They asked me if I was sure I did blood. Uhhh Helloooo Yes I'm sure.
So todays blood work shows an LH of 24 (25 meaning ovulation) and estrogen went up to 830. Now the nurse says being that we don't have saturdays numbers she isn't sure if the LH of 24 means I'm about to surge or that it's on its way back from surging. Told us to BD tonight and Tomorrow morning in the hopes to catch it.
I told DH we are BDing every day from here on out because I am now wondering if I will O again when I'm supposed to next week. I don't want to miss that one because we tried for this one.
The whole thing is a $hit show. I am completely baffled. According to the nurse this is very rare, but happens. I will start using OPKs today but if I surged Saturday or Sunday, it'll be over by now. Still gonna use them in the hopes of catching another surge in the middle of my cycle.

but just to add, i had a large one this past cycle and by cd9 it was very small and no worries

Your RE will probably be checking your BW to see if the cysts are estrogen filled. I had cysts 2 cycles and some disappeared and some weren't estrogen filled so I was able to still cycle.

Hmmmm,.....I know lillies had cysts and mystery follicles going on for a few months.
I've skipped a cycle bc the cyst was producing estrogen and i've also just gone through with a cycle with the cyst bc my hormones were normal.
 they go away by monday for you!!!!!

That happened to me too... My RE told me that he thought I had a cyst but did my IUI anyway... And ended up pregnant that cycle

I had 3 cysts last month and they cancelled my cycle. This month they saw one cyst but now it turns out its probably a follicle. It's larger then the other 3 follicles that are growing. They want me back for blood and sono tomorrow although I'm not sure what my estrogen level is as of today. So frustrating. Hang in there!

It's really frustrating and overwhelming. Everyday I feel like its another curveball. Hang in there...

Phyllis, if I were you, I would still use an opk and see if you ovulate. I had the same thing- estrogen increasing, then going down, then increasing. She wanted to skip a cycle and induce period but I refused and made her do an IUI. I ended up surging and got preg that cycle. Same this cycle and I just BD'ed on my own and we are currently pregnant but waiting on beta to see if its sticking. Good luck!

Oh my gosh - what a roller coaster for you! How do they give you someone else's blood results?!? But look at it this way - it's just another excuse to BD like crazy :) :) Good luck!
