D&C is done....
Yesterday was a disaster beyond belief. I had to go to Brookyn b/c the ORs at Beth Israel were over booked. This UES girl rarely leaves the island of Manhattan so going to Brooklyn was a PITA!
Well, I get to Lutheran hospital and guess what, they are over booked as well. I didn't enter the OR until 9:45 and didn't leave the recovery room until 2:15 am! It was insane. Firs they wanted me to pee, then they needed to run some blood work b/c I bleed more then they thought I should. The irony is that yes, there was blood, but it wasn't anything like when I have a heavy period! UGH!!! Of course, the blood comes back fine and I was finally released. We got home at 3 am!
So now I am resting and interested in what the pathology report will say. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. You ladies are quite the encouragers to continue on!

 talk about throwing salt into a wound...what an experience. I am so sorry. I mean, they could have booked you today instead and avoided all of that extra stress.

WOW -- how utterly and completely insensitive. I mean I know hospitals are busy but this was a scheduled procedure - not an emergency - and a very delicate situation. I hope you talk to your OB about this...

OMG - that is appaling! I am so sorry you had to experience that. Sounds like a letter to the chair of OB/GYN is in order.....
