D & C after C Section.....has this happened to any of you?
I am 5 weeks post pardum and I am still bleeding pretty bad. I went to the dr last night and they saw on a sonogram that there is a 6 cm cystic like thing and they want to remove it....they said it could just be a left over blood clot that needs to be removed...
Needless to say I am freaking out and I want to see if this has happened to anyone else...I never had a d & c and from what I was told it was quick procedure....
Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I didnt realize that procedure was called a D&C...I thought a D&C was when you lost a baby before term. I am confused...

I think D&C is cleaning out the uterus. My mom had to have one for something other than a miscarriage.

I had a D&C last June when I lost my baby - it is a very quick, easy procedure, with little recovery time. Read this:
