dance lessons...
i want to take dance lessons with dh. its something i wanted to do a long time ago. can you recommend a place in suffolk. neither of us are good dancers...wat would u suggest we take? i thought it would be something fun for both of us to do...since we never do anything together

If you live in the Town of Huntington (or close by) I highly recommend their Department of Parks & Recreation lessons. The current session started in February, but the summer schedule isn't even out yet. In the summer classes are held outside at the Dix Hills Pool.

I don't know places down on Long Island. But I used to teach upstate. A favorite of most couples is Swing Dance. But I think just regular ballroom dance is awesome. It's nice to learn the cha-cha, waltz, etc. If you really want to get hot and sexy, try latin dancing. Then again, the cha-cha always worked for me.

Dh and I took dance lessons before our wedding years ago at Arthur Murray (in Bayshore)..it was a lot of fun, and even Dh, who was not a big dancer, even wanted to sign up for some additional ones afterwards..hth

Dh and I took lessons from him for our wedding as well. He was excellent. He's a LIW vendor.

I loved our dance lessons!!  I looked forward to them every week!! (multiple times a week as we got closer to the big day!!!  ) At the time we enjoyed it so much that we said we would continue even after the wedding. That never happened though.. but John was so great and patient!!

US TOO! DH and I took lessons with John a few months b4 the wedding. It was like our date night. We had so much fun and John is the best!
