That's about average for the recital ticket. We paid $16/person 3 years ago. The monthly fee was $36/month then. I have no clue what it is up to now. My dd was not really interested so I did not want to keep spending the money.

realy, well My sister live out in Queens she pays 75.00 a moth...BUT i could not belive they did not even give her a tickt or 1-2 tickets for nothing she shelled out a lot of $$$, so DH siad to ck into the dance schools because he feels we should not have to pay to watch our child dance after we paid for the lesssons AND I totaly agree. They allso would not let you take pics or use a camcorder ( they wante you to by there dvd and pic) SO wrong to use the kids that way

Re: dance studio
I have a dance studio (it's in Westchester) and we charge everyone for tickets as well ($12pp.) I know you feel like if you pay tuition you should be able to see your child dance for free, but the fact of the matter is it costs money to run a recital. You have to rent the theater, pay backstage help, a lighting technician, pay for programs and tickets, etc...

That is nuts! Is it for more than one class though? I can see that.
